This box of 25 8 x 10" Ilford MULTIGRADE RC Deluxe sheets has a pearl 44M surface finish that has a more textured appearance than glossy paper to help reduce overwhelming surface reflections, but still retains some reflectivity to achieve deeper black values for a longer apparent tonal scale. It is extremely versatile and well-suited for all traditional black and white printing needs. For fine-tuning the appearance of prints, this Generation V paper has an improved emulsion with a more linear contrast profile that reacts consistently and correctly to the whole 00-5 range of Multigrade filters.
Also, the paper has a base tint that is genuinely neutral and responds particularly well to various toning solutions for modifying the color of the final print. Deeper blacks and improved mid-tone separation are also provided by the improved emulsion, giving the printer more versatility when printing negatives with different densities. Furthermore, it can print from both traditional and chromogenic black-and-white negative films, and the paper can be developed using conventional black-and-white chemicals in either trays or machine processors.
Traditional and adaptable panchromatic film, Ilford's HP5 Plus Black and White Negative Film is made for everyday use in a range of photography situations. This film responds well to use in varied and challenging lighting conditions and offers medium contrast for more overall control. It exhibits a noticeably wide exposure latitude. It responds well to push processing and has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 400/27° when produced in common black-and-white chemistry. Under a variety of various lighting situations, the flexible film type HP5 Plus is perfectly suited for use in general photographic applications.
