The XF405, XF400, XA15, XA11, XA35, XA30, XA25, XA20, Vixia HF G50, Vixia HF G40, Vixia HF G30, Vixia HF G21, and Vixia GX10 camcorders are compatible with the Canon BP-828 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack. This replacement battery pack has an output power of 7.4V and a capacity of 2670mAh. Lithium-ion batteries are portable and light, and they may be charged or drained whenever necessary without experiencing a memory effect.
The battery charges via the camcorder in about 405 minutes and with an optional CG-800D battery charger in around 260 minutes. The amount of time it takes to charge a battery will vary based on the temperature and the battery's charge level when you start. The battery will not charge if the ambient or battery pack temperature is either colder than 32°F or higher than 104°F. The battery should be charged at temperatures between 50 and 86°F.
